Rebuild pedal assembly

Looks BAD!

I show you how disassemble, clean and rebuild the pedal assembly.

Remove 2 bolts (17mm).




Remove return spring...




... and pin.




Now, the roller.


Remove the lock ring.


OK.


The throttle arm pin.


So EASY!


Using a nail or a pin, hit the lock pin in the clutch pedal.


Using a big bolt, hit on the spindle.


Use a big hammer (The photo show a small one, You should use a big!!)


Check the "hook", change if is necessary.


Remove lock ring




Remove brake return spring (Be careful not to mount inverted)


Another lockring.

Remove brake arm.


Explode view


use solvent to clean parts, reassemble and lubricate with grease

TIPS
Tip1: If the pedal is loose, check the bushings

Tip2: If the pedal is locked, polish the bushings using polishing mass.

Tip3: Check the clutch cable.

Tip4: The rebuilt kit costs $5

Tip5: To improve the throttle pedal, I use 2 ball bearing pressed on roller.


You should use hammer to mount the bearings.
